The electricity price depends on current exchange prices and market conditions. It can fluctuate and is usually higher than the fixed feed-in tariff.
As a PV system operator, you receive both a payment from SMA SPOT powered by coneva for the electricity sold on the EPEX SPOT exchange and a market premium that the grid operator pays under the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
When prices are negative, your system’s feed-in is reduced to avoid losses.
If the contract is signed no later than 10 working days before the end of the month, direct marketing starts on the 1st of the month after next.
