Digital Energy Transition
Together with EWS (Elektrizitaetswerke Schoenau), we are continuing to drive forward the digital design of the decentralized citizen energy revolution. With the energy management solution developed by coneva in conjunction with intelligent metering systems, the optimized control of decentralized generation and consumption is being tested.
Solar PV systems, battery storage and controllable loads, such as electric vehicles, are to be controlled as consumers in order to optimize the own consumption of the self-generated electricity.
The integration with the smart meter gateway infrastructure creates new network-related and sales-related application possibilities. The basis for this is the IoT energy management platform ennexOS developed by SMA. Via an app, participants can call up their energy flows in real time. The medium-term goal is also to combine electrical heat generation via heat pumps or heating rods with solar power generation, thereby coupling the energy sectors electricity, heat and transport. In order to test the long-term operation of generators and controllable consumers in individual households in the sense of a virtual citizen energy power plant, forecasting tools from SMA are used.
